PenPal support

GLP-1 tracker questions, answered clearly.

These answers explain what PenPal records, how its estimates should be interpreted, and where medical decisions belong.

What is PenPal?
PenPal is an iPhone and iPad companion for keeping a personal record of a GLP-1 routine. You can log injections, reminders, injection-site notes, nutrition, symptoms, weight, hydration, and progress. It is a tracking tool—not a doctor, diagnostic service, or dosing authority.
What can I record in the medication log?
You can keep medication and injection details, timing, notes, and injection-site history in one place. Enter dose information exactly as it appears on your prescription label or care plan. PenPal does not tell you which dose to take or when to change it.
What does the medication timeline estimate mean?
The timeline is a visual estimate derived from the injections you log and the medication information selected in the app. It is not a laboratory result, a measurement of drug concentration, or a recommendation to repeat, delay, or change a dose. Ask your healthcare professional about treatment decisions.
How does PenPal’s AI nutrition feature work?
You can use text or a food photo to create an AI-assisted estimate of nutritional information. Estimates can be incomplete or wrong, so review them and treat them as notes rather than clinical measurements. The feature is intended to make logging easier, not to prescribe a diet.
Can I share a report with my clinician?
PenPal can generate a progress report from the information you choose to record. You decide whether to share it and with whom. A report is a summary of user-entered data; it does not replace your medical record or a professional assessment.
Does PenPal provide medical advice?
No. PenPal does not diagnose conditions, interpret symptoms as a diagnosis, prescribe medication, or adjust treatment. Follow your prescription and care plan. Contact a licensed healthcare professional for questions about your medicine or symptoms; seek urgent care when symptoms may be serious.
Where can I download PenPal?
PenPal is available for iPhone and iPad through the Apple App Store. Availability, pricing, and in-app purchase options are shown by Apple for your region.
How can I ask for support?
Use the support form or email support@trypenpal.app. Please do not send urgent medical questions, full medication records, or other sensitive health details through the public contact form.
Safety reminder: The app is a record-keeping aid. It cannot confirm whether a symptom is caused by a medicine or tell you what action to take. Use the patient information supplied with your prescription and speak with a clinician.
